Retail Growth & Distribution Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a smart, results-driven, and market-oriented professional to lead our retail and wholesale distribution growth. The primary objective of this role is to scale Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) by building strong distribution channels, closing bulk deals, and driving consistent market expansion.

Responsibilities:
Sales & LPO Growth:
- Drive aggressive sales strategies to meet monthly LPO targets.
- Build and close retail and wholesale deals.
- Develop strong and consistent offtake channels.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and onboard distributors, retailers, and bulk buyers.
- Expand market reach and product penetration.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Retail Officer to improve sales output.
- Set weekly targets and monitor execution.
- Convert activities into measurable revenue results.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor pricing, activities, and demand trends.
- Provide growth recommendations to management.
- Identify new market opportunities.
Reporting & Accountability:
- Submit weekly sales and performance reports.
- Provide actionable updates on progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG sales, retail, distribution, or market development.
- Proven track record in target-driven sales roles.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Good understanding of retail and wholesale channels.
- Ability to work independently and in the field.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- High level of accountability and result orientation.
Performance Indicators:
Primary Targets:
- Month 1: Minimum 100 bags.
- Month 2: Minimum 150 bags.
- Month 3: Minimum 200–250 bags.
- Month 4 onward: Sustain 150+ bags monthly.
- Long-term Goal: Scale toward 1,000 bags monthly.
Secondary Targets:
- 5–10 new distributors/retail outlets monthly.
- 2–5 bulk wholesale deals monthly.
- Minimum 30% sales conversion rate.
- Weekly market intelligence reports.
