We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Retail/Brand Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our flagship store, drive retail performance, and ensure a consistently exceptional brand experience for every customer. This role will be responsible for leading the retail team, managing inventory, and driving sales.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Retail Operations: 

  • Oversee the daily running of the flagship store to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supervise sales staff and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
  • Ensure the store layout, display, and ambience reflect the brand values.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and product replenishment.
  • Coordinate logistics for in-store deliveries and stock movement.

Sales & Performance: 

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales reports, KPIs, and customer insights to inform strategy.
  • Develop initiatives to increase footfall and customer retention.
  • Organize in-store activations, events, and seasonal campaigns.

Team Leadership: 

  • Recruit, train, and motivate retail team members.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on excellence and accountability.

Brand Representation: 

  • Ensure a consistently elevated customer experience aligned with the brand's identity.
  • Be the in-store face of the brand, representing our story, mission, and values.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support brand campaigns and storytelling.
  • Monitor customer feedback and ensure continuous service improvements.


 Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a retail management or brand management role (luxury or fashion retail preferred).
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and manage retail performance.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • A passion for African fashion, craftsmanship, and storytelling.
  • Proficient in POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
