Site Engineer
Job summary

Job descriptions & requirements
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve smooth project execution.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents for implementation on site.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for materials and workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with design standards and safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance logs.
- Identify and resolve technical or operational challenges during construction in collaboration with the design team.
- Ensure all construction activities meet environmental, health, and safety (HSE) regulations.
- Coordinate site meetings, track progress, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (MSc. in Construction Management or Project Management is an added advantage).
- 2 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, QA/QC, or project management, preferably within engineering consultancy or construction firms.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and relevant construction management tools.
