Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Relationship Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships between our healthcare insurance company and its key stakeholders, including clients, healthcare providers, and brokers. This position involves understanding the needs and concerns of clients, facilitating communication between parties, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. The Relationship Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients and works collaboratively with internal teams to address issues, optimize services, and drive business growth.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including individuals and agencies, to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and contract documents for client review and approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with clients to review account performance, discuss service enhancements, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
- Collaborate with the provider relations team to manage relationships with healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, and clinics, to ensure network adequacy and quality of care.
- Facilitate communication between providers and clients regarding network coverage, benefits, and utilization management processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with brokers, agents, and third-party intermediaries to promote the company's products and services and facilitate sales and enrollment processes.
- Develop and implement account management strategies to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty, including proactive outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, underwriting, and operations, to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives and client needs.
- Manage contract negotiation and renewal processes, working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment of terms, pricing, and service levels.
Qualifications & Professional Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, client relationship management, account management, or sales, preferably in the healthcare insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian healthcare insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent skills in MS Office applications and other data software
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
