Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Owerri for a Registered Nurse. The primary responsibilities include providing quality patient care, administering medications, and monitoring patient health. Additional tasks involve conducting mental health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans. The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about mental health wellness and building supportive relationships in line with the foundation’s mission.

Qualifications

• Formal nursing qualifications with a valid nursing license
• Experience in patient care, health assessments, and administering medications
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to foster trust with patients and families
• Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic environments
• Knowledge or experience in mental health care and counseling is highly desirable
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records
• Commitment to serving diverse populations with compassion and cultural sensitivity
• Basic computer literacy to access electronic health records and resources
