Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health conditions and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Provide nursing care and support to patients.
- Conduct antenatal and postnatal assessments and care.
- Assist with labour, delivery, and immediate newborn care.
- Monitor mothers and newborns and identify potential complications.
- Educate patients on health, hygiene, family planning, and maternal care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Assist doctors during medical procedures and emergencies.
- Ensure infection prevention, patient safety, and proper ward hygiene.
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families.
- Comply with professional nursing and midwifery standards and organisational policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma qualification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
