Job Summary
A regional sales development manager (RSDM) for the southwest region for betBonanza will focus on expanding our agency networks, increasing sales, and building strong relationships across states. This will include finding and targeting new customers and increasing sales to existing customers. The candidate will be responsible for driving the growth and development of the agency network by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and increasing sales to existing agent networks in the region. The Sales Development Manager- South-West should have a strong understanding of the retail industry, the sales, and the customer acquisition process. The candidate should also be an excellent communicator and problem-solver with solid leadership and negotiation skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and researching potential key agents (Super agents) in new or existing areas and markets we can explore within the region.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue across the region.
- Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential Agents and critical stakeholders in the company.
- Collaborating with other teams within the company, such as marketing and operations, to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives that drive sales and increase brand awareness
- Creating and implementing training programs and support systems for existing Agents to improve sales and productivity
- Staying informed about industry trends and developments and using this knowledge to inform and improve sales and expansion strategies
- Meeting or exceeding sales and expansion targets and goals.
- Developing the right tactics to drive agent recruitment and sales, increase revenue, and control expenses.
- Negotiating new agent partnership agreements with customers from competing brands and ensuring that all contracts are executed properly
- Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Staying informed about industry trends and developments and using this knowledge to inform and improve sales strategies
- Managing a sales team, which may include recruiting, training, and mentoring sales representatives.
Requirements:
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field in a similar role.
- Experience working with a company with a vast retail network (with particular consideration for the Telecommunication or FMCG industry)
- Ability to navigate the unique challenges of working with a network of independently owned and operated businesses.
Location: Southwest Region
Remuneration: NGN 600,000 - 700,000 gross
