React Native Developer (Contract – App Store Deployment)

Overview

We’re looking for a React Native Developer to help finalize, prepare, and publish our existing mobile application to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The core app is already built — this role is focused on store readiness, fixes, builds, and deployment, not building from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Review the existing React Native codebase and ensure it is production-ready
• Fix minor bugs or blockers affecting store submission
• Configure app builds for Android (APK/AAB) and iOS (IPA)
• Set up and manage:
• App signing
• Environment variables
• Build configurations
• Prepare store assets:
• App versioning
• Bundle identifiers
• App icons & splash screens (if needed)
• Handle Google Play Store submission and review process
• Handle Apple App Store submission via App Store Connect
• Resolve any issues raised during app review
• Ensure successful approval and live listing on both stores

Requirements

• Strong experience with React Native
• Prior experience publishing apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Familiarity with:
• Android Studio & Xcode
• App signing & certificates
• App Store Connect & Play Console
• Ability to work independently and deliver quickly
• Attention to detail (store policies, warnings, and compliance)

Nice to have

• Experience with Expo (if applicable)
• Experience handling app review rejections
• Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile apps

Deliverables

• App successfully listed and approved on:
• Google Play Store
• Apple App Store
• Clean, stable production build
• Basic handover documentation (build steps, credentials used)
