Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch new home/personal care products tailored to Nigerian consumers
- Formulate, test, and optimize products (cost, performance, local raw materials)
- Ensure compliance with NAFDAC/SON standards
- Support scale-up from lab to production
- Collaborate with Marketing, QA, and Supply Chain
- Lead/mentor junior R&D staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of R&D experience in home/personal care
- Proven track record developing products
- Strong formulation and raw material knowledge
- Familiarity with NAFDAC/SON regulations
- Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
Interview Focus:
- Products developed for the Nigerian market (concept to launch)
- Local raw material sourcing challenges
- NAFDAC/SON approval experience
