Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Obtain competitive quotations from clearing agents for various clearing jobs.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations for clients.
- Handle quotations for: Car clearing, Container clearing (FCL/LCL), Bulk cargo, General import and export cargo
- Liaise with clearing agents, shipping lines, transporters, and other service providers.
- Monitor market rates and negotiate competitive pricing.
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure quotations are accurate and achievable.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, clearing, or logistics.
- Good understanding of shipping procedures, customs clearance, and freight forwarding operations.
- Experience preparing quotations for vehicle, container, and bulk cargo clearance.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Computer literate
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 (open to negotiation )
