Responsibilities:

Procurement Functions:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for quality, price competitiveness, and reliability.
  • Prepare purchase orders and procurement contracts in line with project requirements.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with terms.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure best value procurement.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier database, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with project and warehouse teams to forecast and verify material needs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures.


Quantity Surveying Functions:

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, estimates, and cost plans.
  • Measure and value works completed and ensure payments are made to contractors/subcontractors.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and cost breakdowns.
  • Analyze project costs, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work progress and assess cost implications.
  • Support contract administration, including claims management and variations.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and cost analysis for ongoing projects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement and/or quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, construction costing, and contract administration.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, procurement software, and QS tools (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and vendor management.
