Quantity Surveyor(MEP)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works
• Take accurate measurements from drawings, specifications, and site conditions for MEP systems
• Review and evaluate tenders, subcontractor quotations, and technical submissions for MEP packages
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow for MEP works
• Assess, price, and negotiate variations, change orders, and claims related to MEP services
• Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts for MEP contractors and subcontractors
• Coordinate closely with MEP engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure cost and scope alignment
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, specifications, and approved drawings
• Identify cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures
• Maintain accurate cost records, correspondence, and commercial documentation for MEP works

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor handling MEP works
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, measurement, and cost control
• Ability to interpret MEP drawings and specifications accurately
• Good negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant quantity surveying tools
• Strong communication and coordination skills
