Quantity Surveyor
Job summary
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing estimates and bills of quantities, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of high-rise construction projects. The role involves contract administration, cost control, valuations, and maintaining project costs within approved budgets.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for high-rise construction projects.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
- Administer construction contracts, including managing variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
- Prepare and evaluate interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts for clients and contractors.
- Conduct cost analysis and provide regular financial reports to support project decision-making.
- Review tender documents, evaluate bids, and provide recommendations for contractor and supplier selection.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, safety, and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and relevant industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and project cost control.
- Prepare project valuations, bills of quantities, and cost reports.
- Possess good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 – 400,000
