Metrospace Construction and Real Estate is a leading construction company in Lagos, delivering high-quality building and infrastructure projects across residential and commercial sectors.

We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive quantity surveyor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry and a strong ability to manage project costs, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure effective financial control across all project stages.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure budget compliance
• Prepare tender and contract documents and evaluate contractor bids
• Manage variations, claims, and payment valuations
• Conduct cost analysis and support value engineering initiatives
• Track project progress and provide financial reporting
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in quantity surveying (building construction)
• Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of construction cost management and procurement
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel (QS software is an added advantage)
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
