Role Description

The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing project costs and ensuring value for money throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost planning, financial reporting on project expenditures, and promoting cost-saving measures. The role also involves collaboration with project teams to maintain compliance with budgets and contractual terms. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lekki.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management
• Proficiency in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Cost Planning
• Experience in generating and analyzing detailed Cost Reports
• Familiarity with construction contracts, project budgets, and procurement processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in relevant software tools for quantity surveying and cost estimation
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Professional certification or membership in a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, NIQS) is highly advantageous
• Prior experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is preferred
