Job summary
A leading Lagos-based construction cost consultancy is hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the cost function across a growing portfolio of corporate, banking, and public-sector projects.

Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), take-offs, and detailed cost estimates
- Carry out cost planning, cost control, and value engineering across the project lifecycle
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and advise on procurement
- Conduct interim valuations, assess variations, and prepare final accounts
- Measure and value works executed on-site
- Produce cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial appraisals
- Administer construction contracts and manage contractual correspondence
- Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers to keep projects within budget
- Minimum of an HND in Quantity Surveying or a closely related field
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience working specifically as a Quantity Surveyor — consultancy-side experience strongly preferred
- A progressive track record in the QS function (candidates transitioning from unrelated roles will not be considered)
- Proficiency in QS/design software — CostX, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and advanced MS Excel
- Sound knowledge of standard methods of measurement (SMM/NRM)
- NIQS membership and/or QSRBN registration are advantages
- Strong analytical, numerical, and report-writing skills with sharp attention to detail
- Hybrid — 4 days in our Lekki Phase 1 office, 1 day remote
- Exposure to a varied portfolio of high-profile projects
