Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.

Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Prepare feasibility studies, budget estimates, and detailed cost plans for various construction projects.
- Tendering & Procurement: Manage the tendering process, including the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender analysis, and reporting.
- Contract Administration: Oversee contract documents and provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
- Valuations: Perform site measurements and prepare interim valuations, variation accounts, and final accounts.
- Liaison: Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure financial efficiency and project alignment.
- Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and progress updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Professional Certification: Must be a registered member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV). Membership in NIESV or NIQS is an added advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably with a background in diverse construction or infrastructure projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of industry-standard software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or specialized QS software).
- Analytical Thinking: Exceptional numerical skills and the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
