Job summary

We are hiring an experienced Quality Surveyor on behalf of a client in the construction industry. The role involves site inspections, quality control, defect management, and ensuring construction works meet approved standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate corrective actions and collaborate with project teams

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of construction works, materials, and workmanship to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and report construction defects, poor workmanship, and deviations from approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor the quality of materials and construction activities throughout project delivery.
  • Prepare inspection reports, snagging reports, defect records, and other quality documentation.
  • Follow up with contractors and subcontractors to ensure identified defects are properly corrected.
  • Conduct snagging and pre-handover inspections to ensure completed works meet required quality standards.
  • Work with project teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve quality issues and improve construction standards.
  • Monitor completed works to ensure they meet standards for durability, functionality, and long-term performance.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in construction, quality control, site inspection, or property development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong practical knowledge of building construction, construction methods, materials, workmanship, and building finishes.
  • Experience with site inspections, snagging, defect identification, and quality checks.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project teams.
  • Strong reporting, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; relevant professional certification is an advantage
