Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and budgets for residential, commercial, and mixed-use project.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to minimize financial variances.
- Track cash flow, project progress, and financial forecasts to support management decisions.
- Ensure contracts, variations, and final accounts are managed accurately and in line with company policies.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and consultants to align financial and operational activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or safety.
- Maintain accurate records of all cost-related documentation, including bills of quantities, variations, and payment certificates.
- Monitor the financial performance of multiple concurrent projects to identify trends, risks, and opportunities at the portfolio level.
- Track industry trends, material pricing, and competitor practices to inform pricing strategies and tender submissions.
- Ensure all financial and procurement activities comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide commercial oversight for specialized services such as laser cutting and fabrication, ensuring projects remain on budget and high-quality standards are maintained.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Professional Certification like NISQ, COREN, or RICS is an advantage.
- Experience in multi-project portfolio oversight or working in medium to large-scale construction companies.
- Ability to prepare accurate bills of quantities, cost plans, and project budgets.
- Skilled in tender preparation, contract administration, and negotiation with contractors and suppliers.
- Ability to monitor project costs, cash flow, and provide timely, accurate financial reports.
- Ability to Identify opportunities for cost optimization, material efficiency, and project ROI improvement.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and ensure commercial alignment with timelines.
- Expertise to clearly communicate with contractors, clients, and internal teams, and negotiate effectively.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of modern construction techniques, materials, and processes.
- Familiarity with QS and project management tools such as CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, or similar.
- Understanding of site operations, workflow, and project sequencing
- Working knowledge of building construction, infrastructure delivery, and facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and bills of quantities.
- Ability to generate accurate reports, forecasts, and data-driven insights for management.
- Awareness of financial and commercial risks associated with construction projects.
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 - 650,000
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos.
Work Hours: 9 am - 5 am; Monday - Friday
