Quality Control officer

Responsibilities:

• Inspect rental and décor items before dispatch to ensure they are clean, complete, functional, and in good condition.
• Inspect items returned from events and identify damaged, missing, stained, or defective items.
• Verify quantities and item conditions against job/order lists.
• Inspect décor items such as chairs, tables, linens, charger plates, centrepieces, furniture, drapes, backdrops, props, and other event equipment.
• Ensure damaged or defective items are separated and properly documented.
• Maintain accurate records of damaged, missing, repaired, and returned items.
• Conduct quality checks during event setup to ensure the setup meets approved specifications and company standards.
• Report quality issues promptly to the relevant department and management.
• Work closely with the Operations, Styling, Store, Laundry, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct periodic checks of warehouse inventory to ensure rental items remain in good condition.
• Follow through on repairs, cleaning, maintenance, and replacement of defective items.
• Prepare regular quality control reports and recommend improvements to reduce damage, losses, and customer complaints.
• Ensure company quality control procedures are consistently followed.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of a BSC
• 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
