Quality Control Associate

Responsibilities:

Design Review:

• Review drawings and design outputs before they are shared
• Check that all information is clear, complete, and consistent
• Identify errors or missing details
• Ensure work meets the required standard

Site Quality Control (Snagging):

• Carry out detailed snagging on all active sites
• Check walls, joinery, finishes, fixtures, and general site condition
• Ensure work matches drawings and specifications
• Identify poor workmanship or mistakes
• Record issues clearly
• Follow up until all issues are fully corrected
• Maintain a high standard of finishing across all projects

Site Standards & Compliance:

• Ensure basic site standards are followed at all times
• Check that workers use proper safety gear where required
• Ensure the site is organized and presentable
• Identify and follow up on any issues until corrected

Materials & Finishes Research:

• Research better materials, finishes, and tools
• Suggest ways to improve quality and durability
• Stay updated on good construction and finishing practices

Documentation and Tracking:

• Keep clear records of inspections and issues
• Track all corrections and ensure they are completed
• Identify repeated problems and report them

Requirements:

• Background in Architecture, Building Technology, Interior Design, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience on-site or in a related role
• Basic understanding of drawings and construction processes
• Based in Enugu 
• Pays close attention to details and notices small mistakes
• Understands how buildings are done and how finishes should look
• Is firm and can stand by what is right without shouting
• Stays calm and in control, even under pressure
• Does what is right, not just what people want to hear
• Follows up until tasks are properly completed
• Can move between sites and stand for long hours
• Speaks clearly and confidently
• Can interact professionally with workers and clients
• Works well without needing constant supervision
