Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials and products for defects, damage and compliance with specifications.
- Check product dimensions, finish, appearance and overall condition.
- Identify, document and report non-conforming products.
- Ensure defective or unapproved products are separated and withheld from dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare quality reports.
- Work with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Investigate product complaints and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with quality procedures and follow up on identified issues.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in quality control or product inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Ability to interpret product specifications and use appropriate measuring tools.
- Good documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with other departments.
- High level of integrity and sound judgement.
