Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer ensures that all materials, processes, and installations comply with required quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop inspection & test plans and method statements
- Conduct material and site inspections; issue reports
- Identify, track, and close non-conformities
- Witness tests and prepare test reports
- Oversee commissioning and snag resolution
- Ensure proper document control and verify as-built drawings
- Support audits and ensure QHSE compliance
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, and regulators on quality matters
- Monitor and report on Quality Management System (QMS) performance
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience (2+ years in QA/QC)
- ISO 9001 certification is an advantage
- COREN/NSE membership is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and MEPF processes
- Good understanding of quality systems and document control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability
- Good time management and decision-making skills
