Quality Assurance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for MEP projects.
• Conduct inspections and tests on MEP systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved quality standards and safety regulations.
• Identify defects or non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, and audit records.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure proper documentation and handover of completed projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or related field (or equivalent QA/QC experience in MEP projects).
• 3–6 years of experience in QA/QC within MEP engineering or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and codes.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
