QSR Operations Supervisor
Job summary
We are looking to hire a QSR Restaurant Operations Supervisor is responsible for daily operational excellence, food quality, inventory control, staff supervision, and profitability at the Chowway outlet. The Supervisor is accountable for sales performance, food cost control, inventory accuracy, and operational reporting to management.

Responsibilities:
Operations & Food Quality:
- Supervise daily kitchen and service operations to ensure speed, consistency, and quality
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, storage, and temperature control standards
- Ensure proper food storage, FIFO usage, and approved food repurposing practices to minimize waste
- Maintain portion control and recipe compliance
Inventory Management & Stock Control:
- Manage all food and consumable inventory
- Conduct daily stock usage tracking and weekly stock counts
- Identify, report, and correct wastage, spoilage, or shrinkage
- Collaborate with Procurement to forecast needs and prevent stock-outs or overstocking
- Ensure stock documentation is accurate and up to date
Sales, Profit & Performance:
- Drive daily and weekly sales performance through operational efficiency and service quality
- Monitor food cost percentages and recommend corrective actions
- Support promotions, menu adjustments, and upselling initiatives
- Ensure operational decisions align with profitability targets
People & Shift Management:
- Supervise kitchen and service staff
- Prepare duty rosters and manage shift coverage
- Train staff on SOPs, hygiene standards, and operational discipline
- Enforce performance standards and escalate issues when necessary
Reporting & Management Communication:
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Report stock usage, wastage, food cost trends, and sales drivers
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Management
- Provide management-level insight into operational challenges and opportunities
Requirements:
- 3–5 years experience in QSR, fast food, cafeteria, or high-volume food service
- Strong knowledge of food storage, preservation, and safe repurposing practices
- Hands-on experience managing inventory and stock-taking
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments
- Basic reporting and operational analytics skills
