Job summary

We seek a QAQC Document Control Specialist to manage the lifecycle of critical quality and technical records. A suitable candidate will ensure engineering documents meet compliance standards, are properly version-controlled, and distributed to the right teams.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving of technical documents, SOPs, protocols, and technical reports.
  • Ensure all procedures, policies, and records align with regulatory standards like ISO 9001.
  • Review and update technical documents.
  •  Maintain and organize traceable records for internal and external project audits.
  • Prepare reports on projects as needed.
  • Monitor non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and punch list documentation.
  • Track document transmittals between QAQC teams, project managers, and clients to prevent rework.
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
  • Strict adherence to data entry accuracy, document naming conventions, and revision tracking.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and technical deliverables within construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas.
  • Experience with quality management systems and document control processes.
  • Proficiency in document control software and tools for managing and tracking quality documentation.
  • Experience with quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and plans.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to quality assurance and document control.
  • Experience with audit processes and the ability to prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
  • Knowledge of Tendering will be an added advantage.
