Role Description

We are seeking an wxpwriences and craetive public relations specialist to join our team and play a key role in building a strong brand presence for our beauty company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, excellwnt communications skills, and a proven track record of securing media coverage and influencing brand perception.

This is a full-time on-site role in Ikeja for a Public Relations Specialist. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate sales.

Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry partners to secure product features, reviews, and interviews.

Create content strategies and manage social media pages on all platforms. Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials that showcase our brand’s unique story amd products.

Pitch stories and secure coverage in top tier beauty and lifestyle media outlets, including print, online, and broadcast.

Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns, events, and activations that drive engagement and brand awareness

Monitor and report on media coverage, analyzing the impact of PR efforts on brand reputation ans business results.

Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging beauty trends to inform PR strategies and ensure our brand remains relevant and competitive.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of securing media coverage on top-tier outlets and influencing brand perception
• Skills in creating and distributing Press Releases
• Experience with social media management and content creation
• knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize PR efforts for search
• Proficiency in Public Relations and Media Relations
• Strong Communication skills and a track record in Strategic Communications
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with media outlets and stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• Experience and passion in the beauty, cosmetics, or natural products industry is a plus

ENTRY-MID- LEVEL POSITION

Salary range 100-150k monthly

Must be available mondays- Tuesdays and Thursdays-Saturdays

Hours: 10am-6pm
