We are seeking a Public Relations Manager (PR Manager) to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement crisis management plans to address incidents and mitigate negative publicity.
- Develop communication strategies, plans, and key messages aligned with the company's goals.
- Write and edit press releases, articles, newsletters, and digital content to support internal and external communications.
- Respond to media inquiries, pitch stories to news outlets, and manage media coverage to enhance the company’s reputation.
- Act as a liaison to host communities, address concerns, and foster positive community relations.
- Organize and manage promotional events, press conferences, and external meetings with stakeholders.
- Draft speeches and arrange interviews for the organization’s top executives.
- Act as a spokesperson or provide training for company representatives on how to effectively communicate with the public and media.
- Monitor public attitudes, political issues, and media coverage, and provide executive reports to management.
- Adhere to corporate branding guidelines and take steps to build and maintain a positive company reputation.
Requirements:
- BSc Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant fields. A master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
- At 3-5 years of proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or related roles, with a track record of success in developing and implementing communication strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content creation abilities.
- Proficiency in media relations, public speaking, and event management.Proficiency in the use of digital communication and social media tools.
- Ability to conduct research and analyze media coverage and industry trends.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure, especially during crises.
- Knowledge of the mining and real estate industry, its stakeholders, and regulatory environments.
