Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute PR strategies tailored to specific goals and objectives to increase brand awareness and positively influence public perception.
- Conduct research on local media outlets, journalists, and industry trends to identify relevant media opportunities and potential influencers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, PR best practices, and emerging technologies to suggest innovative ideas and strategies.
Content Development & Media Relations:
- Draft engaging press releases, media pitches, and other written materials that effectively communicate key messages to target audiences.
- Contribute to the development and management of content for various channels, including websites, social media platforms, and newsletters.
- Monitor media coverage and compile media reports to evaluate the success of PR campaigns, track trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Event Coordination & Campaign Execution:
- Assist in organizing press conferences, media briefings, and promotional events.
- Support the coordination of press events, launches, and other PR initiatives, including logistics, invitations, and on-site assistance.
Requirements:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and concise content tailored to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools, content management systems, and social media platforms, with a solid understanding of digital engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with PR principles, media relations, and industry trends, particularly within the Nigerian market.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all written and visual materials, ensuring alignment with client-specific requirements and brand guidelines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
