Property Manager

• Market available units through listings, advertising platforms, and property showings
• Screen prospective tenants (applications, background checks, credit checks, references)
• Act as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries, issues, and complaints
• Maintain positive tenant relationships and resolve disputes professionally
• Enforce lease terms, including notices, violations, and evictions when required
• Conduct regular property inspections and maintain detailed condition reports
• Supervise contractors and maintenance staff to ensure quality and timely repairs
• Maintain accurate tenant records and documentation
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Prepare and manage annual property budgets
• Monitor income and expenses to meet financial targets
• Collect rent, fees, and deposits; follow up on delinquencies
• Approve invoices and process vendor payments
• Coordinate with accounting teams on financial matters
• Prepare and present financial reports, including:
• Profit & Loss statements
• Rent rolls
• Expense reports
• Variance analyses

Maintenance & Vendor Management:

• Oversee routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance activities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure resolution
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate vendors and service providers
• Negotiate vendor contracts and service agreements
• Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate management, property valuation & management, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3  years of experience in property management, real estate, or a related role
• Strong knowledge of leasing practices and property operations
• Basic understanding of accounting and budgeting principles
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Leadership and team coordination skills
• Strong time management and decision-making abilities

Work Environment

• Combination of office-based work and on-site property visits
• May require evening or weekend availability for emergencies or tenant needs
• Ability to walk properties and conduct physical inspections

Remuneration: NGN 150,000.00 NGN 200,000.00 (NGN) per month

Bonuses:

• Commissions: Performance-based commissions earned as a percentage of successfully closed deals.
