Job summary
We are hiring a Project Officer – Climate Action to join our firm.

Responsibilities:
- Support the design and execution of climate action projects, including bootcamps, school programmes, and community initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, and deliverables in line with approved workplans.
- Engage schools, youth groups, and communities to promote climate awareness and sustainable practices.
- Collect project data, document outcomes, and prepare narrative and activity reports.
- Support monitoring frameworks to assess project impact and learning.
- Maintain organised project documentation and records.
- Liaise with partners, schools, environmental organisations, and community stakeholders.
- Support public engagements, campaigns, and advocacy activities related to climate action.
- Coordinate logistics for training, workshops, field activities, and community Engagements.
- Support procurement, budgeting inputs, and compliance with organisational policies.
Requirements:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in project implementation, climate programming, environmental advocacy, or development work.
- Experience working with youth, schools, or community-based projects is an advantage.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage timelines, documentation, and multiple stakeholders.
- An understanding of climate change, sustainability, or environmental education is desirable.
