Job summary

Our client in Abuja is seeking a results-driven Project Manager. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced professional with 5+ years of experience, including significant time managing large-scale real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project planning, budget and timeline management

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the company project, supervise, and give timely reports to the team and to the GM
  • Plan, Review, and implement the schedule before, during, and after construction.
  • Draw and control budgets and optimize construction expenses.
  • Manage, lead, and motivate employees under you for maximum productivity.
  • Carry out regular inspections of construction sites across the country with the aim of compliance, timely and quality delivery.
  • Prepare and share the weekly and monthly status reports of each project of the company under construction.
  • Understand the peculiarity of each project under your supervision and advise management accordingly.
  • Maintain good knowledge of innovation and current realities in the building and project management industry and adapt accordingly.
  • Manage project risks, including contingency plans to deliver projects on schedule.
  •  Adopt any delegation and use of the project assurance role within the agreed reporting structures.
  • Solve issues that may arise and manage resources to the best of your ability
  • Ensure stakeholders' satisfaction and evaluate the performance of each portfolio.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 5 - 6 years of proven experience in construction and real estate project management.
  • PMP Certification (mandatory), COREN, NSE, or CORBON.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to deliver results within deadlines.
