Job summary

The Project Manager / QAQC plans, executes, and delivers projects within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards, while implementing and enforcing QAQC systems to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and industry requirements.

Responsibilities:


Project Management Functions

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation plans
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines to ensure delivery within approved parameters
  • Coordinate project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Prepare and present regular progress, cost, and status reports to management
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and company policies


QAQC Functions

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QAQC plans and procedures
  • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks on materials and workmanship
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and documentation required for quality compliance
  • Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
  • Maintain QAQC records, reports, and quality documentation
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on quality-related matters


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, COREN, NSE, RICS, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in project management and QAQC roles
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project controls, and quality management systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
