Project Manager
Job summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and success of technical projects from inception to completion. The PM leads multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex engineering projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
- Technical Oversight: Review engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications. Ensure all technical work complies with relevant codes (ASME, ISO, etc.) and quality standards.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenditures, approve project-related purchases, and provide regular financial forecasts and reports.
- Schedule Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM). Identify potential delays and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal departments. Facilitate technical meetings and provide progress updates to executive leadership.
- Risk & Quality Assurance: Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans. Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process and ensure all site activities meet safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role, with a minimum of 2 years in a project leadership or management capacity.
- Expertise in Project Management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet). Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit).
- Understanding of Six Sigma principles.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) credential preferred.Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and resolve technical conflicts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
