Our client, a reputable engineering company, is seeking a results-driven Engineering Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of engineering projects from concept to completion
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and operations
  • Ensure projects comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage stakeholder communication, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency within project delivery


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
  • 2 years of project management experience within an engineering or construction environment
  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale engineering projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles and project delivery processes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capability
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and scheduling
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification
  • Experience in [construction / infrastructure / manufacturing / oil & gas — tailor as needed]
  • Experience working with cross-border or large multidisciplinary teams
