PROJECT MANAGER (FULLY ONSITE in OGBA/ IKEJA, LAGOS)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, mitigate project risks, and ensure that project objectives align with organizational goals. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.

Develop comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and schedules.

Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.

Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing business needs.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones to management and clients.

Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status review sessions.

Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Coordination

Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.

Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts that may impact project delivery.

Ensure effective communication among project team members.

Risk & Issue Management

Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints.

Develop mitigation and contingency plans.

Escalate critical issues promptly and recommend solutions.

Maintain project risk and issue logs.

Budget & Resource Management

Develop and monitor project budgets.

Track project costs and resource utilization.

Ensure efficient allocation of resources across project activities.

Report budget variances and recommend corrective actions.

Quality Assurance

Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards.

Implement project governance and quality control processes.

Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and meeting minutes.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

Track KPIs and project performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Scrum Master is an added advantage.

Master's degree is an added advantage.

Experience

5–8 years of project management experience.

Proven experience managing end-to-end projects across multiple functions.

Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Experience managing budgets, timelines, and project risks.

Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
