Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager, Electrical and Instrumentation with strong oil and gas experience to drive the execution of complex E&I projects across upstream, midstream, or downstream operations.

The role requires deep technical expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, and control within hazardous and high compliance environments, combined with strong project delivery capability. The ideal candidate will manage full project lifecycle delivery while ensuring alignment with industry standards, safety regulations, and commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end execution of Electrical and Instrumentation projects within oil and gas facilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and resource plans in line with EPC standards

• Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of E&I systems including PLC, SCADA, and DCS

• Ensure compliance with international oil and gas standards such as IEC, NEC, ATEX, and ISO requirements

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases

• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and OEM vendors to ensure performance delivery and cost efficiency

• Drive HSE compliance, ensuring zero harm culture across all project sites

• Identify and manage project risks, including technical, operational, and commercial exposures

• Provide detailed project reporting and performance insights to senior leadership and clients

• Support tendering and business development processes with technical and commercial input

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum of 13 years’ experience in Electrical and Instrumentation within the oil and gas sector

• Proven experience managing E&I projects in upstream, midstream, or downstream operations

• Strong knowledge of hazardous area classification and explosion proof systems

• Hands on experience with control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS

• Experience working within EPC project environments

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of HSE regulations within oil and gas operations

• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capability
