Job summary

We are seeking a professional Project Manager to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance and success of multiple large-scale projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and deliver results that exceed service-level agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, make adjustments as necessary, and ensure timely completion.
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of all design and construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with the design team, operations, and other contractors to ensure all project timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Select and manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
  • Manage conflicts and resolve disputes.
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and expectations.
  • Provide project updates and progress reports, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, building codes, and company policies.
  • Manage project documentation, records, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Assist in implementing best practices and standardized procedures to streamline project workflows. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management.
  • Train and supervise team members, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Provide regular status reports to Management and clients.
  • Send the monthly project report to Management.
  • Carry out any other duty as assigned.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or other relevant fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role in the architectural or construction industry is an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), COREN, H.S E Certification or equivalent are preferred.
  • A master's Degree is an added advantage
  • Strong project management skills (scheduling, budgeting, risk management).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Asana, Trello).
  • Familiarity with construction management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to supervise and train team members.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions and drive operational improvements.
  •  A proactive problem solver who can anticipate and address challenges before they escalate.
  • Exceptional capacity for making sound judgments in high-pressure environments.
  • Clear, unambiguous communicator who is effectively responsive across multiple communication channels.
  • Budget management and financial literacy are a plus
  • Proven experience in client service or account management roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Having an understanding of architectural design and experience in the construction industry is a plus
