Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee interior decoration and construction projects from start to completion.
• Develop project schedules, timelines, budgets, and work plans.
• Coordinate architects, interior designers, engineers, artisans, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Supervise daily activities on project sites and ensure work is carried out according to approved designs and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential delays, defects, risks, and quality issues.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available when required.
• Liaise with clients and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, work schedules, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Manage contractors and artisans, including monitoring productivity and workmanship.
• Ensure all construction and finishing works meet company and client quality standards.
• Monitor project expenses and ensure effective cost control.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Resolve site issues, conflicts, and technical challenges promptly.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Conduct project meetings and ensure action points are followed through.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and company procedures.
• Carry out project handover and ensure outstanding works and defects are properly resolved.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• PMP certification or its equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in interior decoration, construction, renovation, or fit-out projects.
• Proven experience managing construction and interior decoration projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, finishing works, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design drawings.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost-control skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage contractors, artisans, suppliers, and project teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools..
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Must be proactive, accountable, organized, and results-oriented.

Remuneration: NGN250 monthly net
