Job summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and safety standards. The role serves as a link between design, site execution, contractors, and management.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, and resources
- Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications
- Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with project plans and standards
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Track project progress, costs, and timelines; prepare reports
- Ensure quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Identify risks and propose corrective actions
- Support procurement and material planning activities
- Assist in project documentation and handover processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in project planning tools and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP) is an added advantage
