Job summary
The Programme, Planning and MEP Manager owns the master construction programme, maintains the critical path, and simultaneously serves as the on-site MEP authority coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across the estate. Senior role that requires both programme management expertise and deep MEP technical knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and maintain the master construction programme using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Issue a fully updated 3-week look-ahead programme to all team leaders every week
- Identify critical path activities and flag any activity at risk of delay to the Project Director immediately
- Attend the weekly project review meeting and present the programme status; lead discussion on any slippage and recovery options
- Produce the programme dashboard report for issue to the client at agreed intervals
- Coordinate with all Construction Managers, the Fit-Out Manager, and the Site Engineers to capture actual progress against programme on a weekly basis
- Model the programme impact of all proposed changes and variations before they are approved
- Track all procurement and delivery milestones for imported materials and plant against the programme
- Hold overall MEP delivery authority on site across all residential blocks and all estate infrastructure
- Interface between the MEP design consultant, the Design and Architectural Manager, and all MEP subcontractors on site
- Chair the weekly MEP coordination meeting
- Personally confirm with the Design and Architectural Manager that all MEP sleeve and penetration drawings are issued, installed, and checked before every slab pour across all blocks
- Review and approve all MEP shop drawings and product submissions before they are forwarded to the MEP consultant for formal approval
- Manage all MEP subcontracts: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, security systems, solar power, generator installation, and IT and communications
- Own the MEP commissioning programme in the final phase; produce the commissioning schedule and witness programme
- Produce the MEP section of the Operations and Maintenance Manual in coordination with the Commissioning Engineer
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or Civil Engineering; COREN registration is strongly preferred
- Minimum 14 years of combined programme planning and MEP experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role managing both disciplines on major residential or commercial projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6; proficiency in MS Project an additional advantage
- Strong working knowledge of all MEP disciplines: HVAC, plumbing, LV electrical, solar power, standby power, drainage, and fire protection
- Experience managing MEP on fast-track multi-building projects
- Membership of NSE or COREN is beneficial; membership of a project management body such as CIPM or PMI is an advantage
