Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of programme activities across thematic
- Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to Programme Officers and Associates.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Communications, Partnerships, Finance) to ensure seamless programme delivery.
- Establish monitoring and reporting frameworks to track programme performance and impact.
- Review programme reports, data, and documentation for quality and compliance.
- Facilitate learning, reflection, and adaptation to improve programme outcomes.
- Ensure programmes comply with organisational policies, donor requirements, and safeguarding standards.
- Identify programme risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- A degree in Development Studies, Public Health, Social Sciences, Education, Public Administration, law or any related field is preferred.
- A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is an advantage.
- At least 5–8 years of progressive experience in programme management, preferably within non-profit, development, or donor-funded organisations.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing multi-stakeholder programmes, and working with donors or grant-funded projects.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
