Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities and workflows.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to production staff and monitor performance.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved efficiently.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet required quality standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues, delays, and equipment-related problems.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of raw materials and production supplies.
• Implement procedures to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of production areas and equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift handover information.
• Train, coach, and motivate production staff to improve performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, warehouse, and other departments.
• Report production performance, challenges, and operational issues to management.
• Recommend improvements to production processes and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• OND in Production Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supervising and managing production teams.
• Good knowledge of production processes, quality control, and workplace safety.
• Ability to operate or understand production machinery and equipment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental procedures is an advantage.
