Job summary
The Production Manager (Fashion House) is responsible for planning, coordinating, & overseeing the complete garment production process, ensuring that all fashion pieces are produced efficiently, on schedule, within budget, & to the required quality standards. The role involves managing production teams, allocating resources, and monitoring quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete garment production process, including sampling, pattern development, cutting, sewing, finishing, and final quality checks.
- Coordinate with designers, pattern makers, tailors, cutters, suppliers, and quality control teams.
- Translate design concepts into practical production plans.
- Monitor fabric, trims, and material availability to support smooth production.
- Supervise sampling, fittings, alterations, and bulk production processes.
- Ensure garments meet the brand’s quality, design, and finishing standards.
- Manage production teams and allocate tasks effectively.
- Develop production plans aligned with sales and orders.
- Supervise production supervisors and artisans.
- Ensure quality control across all production stages.
- Monitor costs, reduce wastage, and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production bottlenecks and workflow issues.
- Prepare weekly and monthly production reports.
- Develop production schedules and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Track production costs and minimize material waste.
- Identify and resolve production challenges and delays.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and inventory documentation.
- Implement efficient production systems and improve workflow processes.
- Conduct regular quality checks throughout production stages.
- Ensure health, safety, and workplace standards are maintained.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, Production Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in fashion production, garment manufacturing, and bridal operations.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, sewing techniques, and finishing.
- Experience in luxury, couture, bridal, bespoke, or ready-to-wear fashion production.
- Ability to interpret fashion designs and technical specifications.
- Advanced knowledge of pattern development, garment fitting, cutting techniques, and production planning.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing production teams and external vendors.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, cutting&finishing techniques, and sewing processes.
- Ability to interpret fashion sketches, technical drawings, measurements, and garment specifications.
- Experience supervising pattern makers, cutters, tailors, and production teams.
