Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day production activities, including large-format printing, box making, finishing, and quality control.
• Plan and schedule jobs efficiently to improve speed and meet (or beat) promised delivery dates.
• Implement systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent order mixing and reduce errors.
• Coordinate closely with the Customer Service representative to ensure real-time communication on job status and early flagging of any potential delays.
• Conduct daily/regular machine maintenance and optimize printer settings to address slow production issues.
• Monitor production metrics (on-time delivery rate, error rate, waste levels) and continuously improve processes.
• Perform quality checks at key stages and maintain consistent high standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in production management, preferably in a printing press or packaging company.
• Hands-on knowledge of offset printers.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, you must be able to spot bottlenecks and fix them quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, speed, and on-time delivery.
• Basic computer skills (Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, basic job tracking tools). Experience with workflow software is a plus.
• Reside in Shomolu Environs.
