Job summary
We are looking for a Production Intern (Design) with hands-on experience in furniture design to support our production team. The ideal candidate should be able to create production-ready furniture designs with minimal supervision and have a good understanding of furniture construction and manufacturing processes.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D drawings, 3D models, and CAD designs for sofas, beds, chairs, tables, and other furniture products.
- Prepare production, assembly, and technical drawings for manufacturing.
- Revise and update existing design files based on production requirements.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), cutting lists, and material specifications.
- Participate in factory inspections, measurements, and production follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and meet quality standards.
- Support prototype development, product testing, and continuous design improvements.
- Gain practical exposure to furniture assembly methods, machining processes, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Degree or certification in Product Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar CAD software.
- Previous experience designing furniture for manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, measurements, and furniture construction.
- A portfolio showcasing previous furniture design work is required.
