Production Chemist

Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce cosmetic formulations, including lotions, creams, and hair relaxers.
  
• Take full ownership of daily production operations and output.
  
• Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to standard procedures.
  
• Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished products.
  
• Maintain accurate formulation, batch, and production records.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and manufacturing standards.
  
• Monitor product stability and recommend formulation improvements.
  
• Drive process optimisation to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  
• Support new product development and innovation.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years experience in cosmetics manufacturing.
  
• Proven experience producing lotions, creams, and hair relaxers.
  
• Experience supervising production teams or managing a production line.
  
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation, QC, and manufacturing processes.
  
• Must be based on or willing to work on the Lagos Mainland.
