- Collect, organize, and proactively analyze feedback from Nigerian users to identify pain points, behavioral trends, and localization opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support product optimization and strategic product iteration.
- Establish and maintain operational workflows for tracking issue feedback, product optimization, and localization improvement initiatives.
- Continuously monitor local market trends, user habits, payment behaviors, and entertainment consumption patterns to enhance product-market fit.
Product Management & Localization:
- Draft clear, structured, and high-quality Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), feature proposals, and optimization plans based on operational insights and testing outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with operations, testing, design, and R&D teams to drive efficient product implementation and iterative improvements.
- Ensure products align with Nigerian user expectations regarding language, UI/UX interaction, payment flows, and local digital behaviors.
- Review product copy, interaction logic, and localized content to ensure cultural relevance and usability, including Local English and Pidgin communication contexts.
Software Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct full functional testing, regression testing, UI/UX verification, and release validation for iOS, Android, and H5 product lines.
- Execute daily online health checks and monitor critical business workflows, including: Local payment gateways (OPay, PalmPay, USSD transfers)\, SMS OTP delivery performance, Sports data rendering, and entertainment platform stability
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs using defect management tools such as Jira or Trello, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
- Perform testing under weak-network and varied device conditions common in the Nigerian market, including mainstream Android brands such as Tecno, Infinix, and itel.
- Proactively identify hidden product risks and recommend optimization solutions to improve user experience and system stability.
AI-Driven Operational Efficiency:
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve testing workflows, generate test case matrices, optimize documentation quality, and enhance cross-border collaboration efficiency.
- Translate complex product or operational issues into structured technical reports and actionable recommendations.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in product operations, product management, software testing, QA, or related internet product roles.
- Strong understanding of mobile app and H5 product ecosystems, including testing workflows and agile product development processes.
- Solid product thinking with the ability to create logical and detailed product documentation independently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian digital ecosystem, including fintech/payment systems, local user behavior, and entertainment or sports-related platforms.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian market and user behavior.
- Strong sensitivity to localized product experiences, UI/UX expectations, and communication nuances.
- Experience with payment gateway testing, mobile money systems, or high-concurrency digital platforms is an advantage.
- Experience with mobile device testing across Android and iPhone environments.
- Understanding of weak-network testing and performance diagnostics under unstable network conditions.
- Proficiency with defect tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Strong Prompt Engineering or AI-assisted workflow experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly preferred and will be considered a major advantage for cross-border collaboration and communication with headquarters.
