Job Title: Assistant Procurement Manager (Plastic Industry)

Location: Ibadan

Salary: 300k – 500k

The Assistant Procurement Manager will support the Procurement Manager in Supply Chain Development, sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing vendor relationships. This role ensures the organisation receives quality materials at the best value while adhering to company policies and procedures. The Assistant Procurement Manager also assists in streamlining procurement processes and maintaining accurate purchasing records.

Key Responsibilities:

•
Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goals.

•
Support the Procurement Manager in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting vendors and suppliers.

•
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, including managing vendor performance evaluations.

•
Analyse procurement data and prepare reports for management decision-making.

•
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company standards in all procurement activities.

•
Any other Job /duties assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Education and Experience:

•
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

•
2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in a plastic company.

•
Experience in the plastic recycling industry is an added advantage.
