Job summary
The Procurement Officer – MEP will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials and equipment. This role requires solid technical understanding of MEP materials and the ability to differentiate between brands, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Source and procure HVAC equipment, electrical cables, switchgear, plumbing fittings, pumps, valves, and fire fighting systems.
- Maintain and continuously expand a strong MEP vendor database.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure procured materials strictly meet project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams on material requirements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure consistent quality supply.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to site.
- Prepare cost analysis and procurement reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–7 years procurement experience specifically in MEP construction.
- Proven and verifiable vendor network for MEP materials.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Clear understanding of technical MEP specifications.
